The NUB-862-EXT / EUB-862-EXT is the first high power 200mW USB 2.0 wireless adapter with a detachable antenna that can be installed easily onto any desktop or laptop with an available USB port.

A simple plug of the EUB-862 into the USB port and you can experience the freedom and convenience of high power, high sensitivity wireless networking. A small 2 dBi indoor antenna (RP-SMA) is included to use whenever you go ashore or wish to 'turn down' your radio. The addition of the 8.5 dBi Marine Antenna will easily extend your distance and performance.

Important Information:
- We have included a 20 foot RP-SMA plug to RP-SMA jack cable assembly to assist you with mounting the marine antenna outside. If you require a different length cable, we can assist you with a recommendation on what is required but are unable to provide single custom cables. We suggest LMR200 (thinner) or LMR400 (thicker) or equivalent 50 Ohm low loss cable. The connectors should be RP-SMA plug on one end, and RP-SMA jack on the other.
- You will want to ensure the connectors are properly waterproofed once installed. Coaxseal will work, or you probably already have a favorite waterproofing tape/compound which will work just fine.
