Together, Wi-Spy and Chanalyzer enable both enterprise and small business users to visualize, troubleshoot, and optimize your wireless networks.

Software Tools available in addition to the Chanalyzer (Windows):
- Spectrum-Tools: Mike Kershaw, author of Kismet, has developed an open source version of the Wi-Spy software that runs on Linux, BSD, and Mac OS X. This application has most of the features of the original Wi-Spy software for Windows. This software is open source and uses the GTK library (supports Wi-Spy and Wi-Spy 2.4x).
- EaKiu: Open GL Based MacOS X tools providing interactive 3-D dispalys as well as the standard spectrum analyzer and spectrogram views.
- VisiWave: Advanced Site Survey tool running on Windows.
